The G-Class is pure old-school SUV from every angle. It's said that the G-Wagen was originally designed in the 1970s for the Shah of Iran's military, and since then, it has only evolved when absolutely necessary—to meet safety regulations and to add more luxury and technology. It's an automotive piece of amber jewelry—nearly prehistoric, but in a way that makes it that much more desirable in a modern world. It's also one of the most luxurious, most capable and most expensive SUVs on the market.
The G63, which significantly outsells the base model, features a hand-built twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 that makes 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. On the road, it is almost frighteningly quick, cutting the 0 to 60 mph time to 3.9 seconds and sounding even more menacing. 
Despite the prowess the G-Wagen, the Brabus 700 modification makes this vehicle a powerful machine to reckon with. As the badging suggests, there’s now 700 hp available for performance pleasure. In addition to the extra hp, the tuned V-8’s peak torque soars from 627 ft lbs to 701 ft lbs.
Brabus quotes a zero-to-62 mph acceleration time of 4.3 seconds, compared to the stock G63’s time of 4.5 seconds. As with the regular G63, max speed is wisely limited to 149 mph.
