Geely has been in the UAE for just under two years now, and although you may have never seen one driving the streets of the Emirates, they are slowly gaining popularity and with such momentum, the Chinese brand has introduced their latest model.<\/p>\n
Exclusively\u00a0powering the front wheels in this version is a 3.5-litre V6 petrol motor rated at a respectable\u00a0270 horsepower which enables the vehicle to hit a top speed of over 180km\/h. This new engine will join alongside the readily available the four cylinder motor.<\/p>\n
Geely Emgrand GT V6 models start off with a price tag of AED 99,995, but if you want a fully loaded version, that will set you back AED 109,995. V6 powered sedans are available right now in Dubai and surrounding\u00a0GCC countries.<\/p>\n
These new engines are the biggest available out of any of the Chinese manufacturers\u00a0available in the region including Brilliance, BYD and a handful of others.<\/p>\n
The new V6 engine is constructed\u00a0from aluminium, besides creating enough power to rival the likes of Nissan’s Maxima, Toyota Aurion and Ford Taraus but also increased fuel consumption with the brand claiming it’s up to 5% better.<\/p>\n
Options inside the models include keyless start, rearview camera, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone air conditioning with climate control, cruise control, heads-up display, electric rear seats, auto park system, an 8-inch touch-screen display with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity and 18-inch alloy rims on each corner. And a multitude of safety\u00a0features.<\/p>\n
