Last week, Toyota celebrated 50 long years of one of the most successful sedan that is much loved around the world especially\u00a0here in UAE and all of GCC. By now, you should already know the 2017 Corolla<\/a> is to sport a brand new exterior shape but what you didn’t know is that the icon will have it’s very own 50th Anniversary Edition.<\/p>\n

Toyota isn’t the one that does this kind of gimmicks. However, this is a monumental\u00a0occasion, its 50 years baby! To celebrate, the brand has set out to build 8,000 unique versions of the sedan with an array of options; this includes\u00a0three model exclusive paint jobs: Black Cherry Pearl, Blizzard Pearl and Classic Silver.<\/p>\n

To really drag customers in, Toyota offers those buying a 2017 Corolla a reverse camera and select safety\u00a0features in the standard trim model. For those wanting something extra and opt for a higher trim level which features navigation, new rims to stick on each corner and LED headlights. For those living in hotter climates (that’s us) you’ll be glad to know that filters have been added to the air conditioning to sort out the dust and other irritating substances to let the cool air flow without irritation.<\/p>\n

Toyota Middle East have yet to confirm when we’ll see the 2017 Corolla zipping down the streets of the UAE. We expect them to land later this year or early 2017 with a price point slightly higher than the AED 65,900 current models have.<\/p>\n
