Are you still upset about not being able to own the behemoth that is the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6<\/a>? Hennessey have what you’re looking for as the American tuner is adding a third axle to a much loved Ford pickup and is to be called the 6×6 Ford F 150.<\/p>\n

Adding another set of wheels is not the only significant change on offer. Standard shocks are replaced by Baja-spec Fox Suspension, unique front and rear bumpers, LED lights, massive 20-inch bespoke rims covered in off-road-ready rubber and an exterior roll cage.<\/p>\n

Stock models retain\u00a0their 3.5-litre V6 EcoBoost twin turbo engine rated at 450 horsepower. In case that isn’t enough, Hennessey can upgrade that to 600 instead. That’s not all either, the company are also offering upgraded brakes, a new exhaust system, an enhanced\u00a0ECU amongst other goodies.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time a tuning house has taken it upon themselves to add an additional\u00a0axle. Kahn Design<\/a> did it with a Land Rover Defender<\/a>, and rumour has it, a Dubai-based\u00a0company are doing the same thing to a Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Does the 6×6 Raptor get you excited? Prices start at $292,661 which includes the standard vehicle and is cheaper than the Merc version. No real images of the 6×6 Ford F 150 have released just yet, but we expect some to flood the internet in the not too distant future.<\/p>\n
