BMW must have struck a nerve in the Mercedes-Benz head office when they revealed the BMW M4 GTS<\/a> last year. This is the result of that nerve damage, the 2018 Mercedes Benz C63 R which has been spotted furiously navigating the corners of the Nuburginig.<\/p>\n

Fitted with a massive rear spoiler and a unique shade of blue paint, this luxurious coupe has instantly turned into a track hungry beast. Aside from that and the carbon fibre boot that looks out of place, new rim design, fleshed out wheel arches, new front splitter and lightly coloured accents, all give the monster a unique look compared to standard coupe and S variants.<\/p>\n

What’s hiding under the bonnet, though? We aren’t 100% sure. However, we expect a little more bang for your buck. Seeing as current S models are rated at 510 horsepower, 550 horses seems reasonable.<\/p>\n

As for the interior, we don’t expect any changes there, although the drive mode selector could be revised and provide a new drive mode dubbed “R.”<\/p>\n

The German powerhouse has announced no price for the 2018 Mercedes Benz C63 R, and neither\u00a0have they\u00a0scheduled a release date .<\/p>\n

Could the “R” badge be the modern day Black Series? Seeing as we haven’t seen it since the SLS AMG and the fact that the German brand has stuck the letter on to a handful of 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT models<\/a>.<\/p>\n
