After a few years of confusing everyone setting eyes on it, the 2018 Mini Cooper Countryman is back with a fresh look and a JCW variant with an extra kick, styling tweaks and upgraded brakes.<\/p>\n
2018 Mini Copper Countryman models sporting the JCW enhancements retain the 2-litre four cylinder motor, however, with some clever tinkering, John Cooper Works have managed to squeeze 228 hp and 320 Nm of torque out of the tailpipes. The upcoming model can be had with a 6-speed manual as standard and an 8-speed auto if one prefers. Both will power all four wheels as standard.<\/p>\n
Each corner of the crossover features Brembo four-piston brake callipers\u00a0and with the enhanced\u00a0drive mode selector, throttle response is increased along with the adaptive\u00a0dampers and steering weight gives the vehicle increased stability and agility while screeching around corners.<\/p>\n
Whether you choose a manual or an automatic gearbox to power the wheels, the 2018 Mini Copper Countryman JCW variant can hit 0-100 km\/h in a respectable 6.2 seconds as well as a top speed of 233 km\/h.<\/p>\n
2018 Mini Cooper Countryman with JCW kits are set to go on show in April 2017 at the Shanghai Motor Show. It’s also expected to go on sale around the same time at least\u00a0in North America with an unknown price tag. Standard Cooper Countryman models are said to be available around the same time.<\/p>\n
