This new system paired with the compact four-cylinder\u00a0motor generates 108 horsepower and 136 Nm of torque. While it isn’t close to their\u00a0hot hatch version<\/a>, the Yaris can hit 100 km\/h in 11 seconds, 0.8 seconds quicker than the 1.3-litre model.<\/p>\n As of now, this new engine is destined for European, Japanese and American models of the Toyota Yaris.
