Jeep’s latest vehicle rolls into showrooms in the UAE this month! Inspired by a 1940’s Willy’s MB Jeep and a vintage jerry can (yes really an old fuel container), the Renegade takes Jeep into the compact SUV category. A smart move by the American vehicle manufacturer as compact automobiles are gaining so much popularity\u00a0now. As for the inspiration, it’s noticeable on the rear lights and the Mysky\u00a0dual panel roof extract details from the fuel canister. Front styling cues are derived from the past to form a shorther yet wider grille.<\/p>\n

\"Jeep<\/a>11 exterior colours are available to choose from, including vibrant colours such as Solar Yellow, Sierra Blue, Omaha Orange, Colorado Red as well as basic colours such as black and white. All paint schemes are available across all four trims. Higher levels receive\u00a0a separately painted black roof, for a cool two-tone effect. Trim levels start from Sport, Longitude, Limited and the highest being Trailhawk. Sport is the only one with power being sent to the front wheels whilst the other three receive a four-wheel drive system. All are powered by 2.4 litre inline four cylinder petrol engine.<\/p>\n

Inside there are a few options to choose from for the seat upholstery, dashboard trim and accents for upholstery. There is a choice between leather and\u00a0fabric in all models except Sport. Colour-wise, you can choose\u00a0between beige, black, grey and white. For dashboard colours, there’s just black and beige. Accent colour which are most prominent\u00a0around A\/C vents include satin silver, ruby red and anodized orange. All models will receive 5-inch UConnect touchscreen infotainment systems with radio functions and Bluetooth connectivity. An upgrade to a 6.5-inch touchscreen is available complete with navigation. AUX and USB inputs are standard across all models. Audio is pumped out through either a four-way speaker system or a six-way 560-watt premium audio system supplied by BeatsAudio.<\/p>\n

Many optional features are available that aren’t standard; a rear mounted bike rack, US Army side door decals, black hood decal, cargo nets for the boot, premium branded floor mats, door sill guards with Jeep branding and a cargo tote to organise essential items.<\/p>\n

Jeep Renegades are equipped with over 60 unique safety features such as front collision detection, blind spot detection mirrors, adaptive cruise control, parking assists, tire pressure sensor, hill start assist and lane departure assistance.\u00a0Expect all these features to be standard on Trailhawks and optional extras on lower trims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
