Although it may come across as a longshot, upon further inspection of this black sedan, we may notice the corners feature Dodge Challenger Demon wheels only this time with Chrysler centre locking caps with Brembo brakes hiding behind.<\/p>\n
Now I know hat you’re thinking now, this can’t be a Chrysler 300 Demon or Hellcat for that matter. Some fan must have seen the announcement and had those tyres slapped on.<\/p>\n
We’re inclined to believe you. However, licence plates bolted to the vehicle indicate that this is a manufacturer vehicle used for testing purposes.<\/p>\n
FCA haven’t confirmed a Chrysler 300 Demon anywhere in their timeline.<\/p>\n
Why and who are they building this model for? For some strange reasons, the Chrysler SRT is not available in the American market. That model is current being sold only in the Middle East and Australia.<\/p>\n
For Middle Eastern customers, having a Chrysler 300 Demon spewing out of 700 horsepower would be a welcome addition to the market and seeing how the Australians love brutish sedans just as much if not more than we do here, it’s a perfect fit.<\/p>\n
It also opens the door for those down under to benefit from the FCA’s ludicrous engine as Dodge is not sold in the region, meaning not a single Hellcat has gone on sale in Australia officially.<\/p>\n
