Lexus hasn’t mentioned a Lexus LS 350 in the works, however, this past week, a secret reveal of the model was held at the Shenzen, Hong Kong and Macao International Auto Show.<\/p>\n
Serving as an entry-level, the Lexus LS 350 adopts the brand’s fresh styling inside and out plus an all-new drivetrain. Similar to that of the LS 500<\/a>, 350 models hide a 3.5-litre V6 petrol motor underneath the bonnet mated to a 10-speed auto gearbox controlling the rear wheels.<\/p>\n During the event, no mention of how much power the engine exerts was revealed. However, outside sources have the motor generating 318 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n While is doesn’t sound as impressive on paper, Mercedes-Benz S 320 L sedans sold in the region generate 272 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque from a 3-litre V6. This allows the Mercedes to accelerate\u00a0to 100 in 7.1 seconds while maxing out at 250 km\/h.<\/p>\n ES 350 models join the Lexus lineup alongside the LS 500h that is powered by a 3.4-litre V6 motor aided by two electric motors. Together they produce 354 horsepower, allowing the executive sedan to nail 100 km\/h in 5.4 seconds.<\/p>\n As of now, it’s unknown if the Lexus LS 350 will be available in other markets outside of China.
