Last year, Rolls-Royce introduced the world to their bespoke Black Series. Starting off with the Ghost and Wraith models, another ultra-luxurious model has been added to the Rolls-Royce Black Series.<\/p>\n
This time, the Dawn receives the blacked out package, and as the name suggests, black paint covers the vehicles alluring curves while the dark shade highlights the weighted wheel caps. Literally, nothing isn’t tinted darker than usual. Even the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy is dressed in all black.<\/p>\n
Inside, as you would expect, it’s black. Everything is black apart from the clock face, dashboard cluster, door handles and various buttons. There are also subtle hints of orange illuminating the dashboard seats and door panels.<\/p>\n
However, there is more than meets the eye.<\/p>\n
Underneath its dark exterior, Rolls-Royce has fitted larger brakes as well as tweaked the suspension, steering and steering all while installing a variable exhaust system for a sportier ride.<\/p>\n
They have also slightly tuned the 6.6-litre V12 twin turbocharged petrol motor to pump out 593 horsepower. An increase of 30 horsepower but still shy of the 603 and 624 hp the other two Rolls-Royce Black Series vehicles.<\/p>\n
Most importantly, these upgrades bring the drop top closer to its rivals notably the Mercedes-Benz Maybach S650 Cabriolet which outputs 621 horses.<\/p>\n
The latest Rolls-Royce Black Series model is set to debut this weekend at the historic Goodwood Festival of Speed. As of writing,\u00a0Rolls-Royce has\u00a0yet to attach a price tag to the Black Badge Dawn.<\/p>\n
