This year, BMW celebrates 40 years of the 7-series! To celebrate\u00a0the Bavarian manufacturer\u00a0will commission\u00a0just 200 units of the 7-Series 40 Jahre luxury four-door sedan.<\/p>\n
As you would expect, 7-Series 40 Jahre models are identical to standard versions of the 7-Series except\u00a0customers can choose to have their executive\u00a0sedan painted in either Petrol Mica metallic\u00a0or Frozen Silver metallic.<\/p>\n
Each corner is highlighted with 20-inch lightweight alloys from the BMW individual catalogue. A limited edition plaque is subtlety\u00a0placed on the B-pillar and is only visible when both doors are open.<\/p>\n
An M aerodynamics package completes the exterior with a signature black double kidney\u00a0grille and unique\u00a0bumpers.<\/p>\n
All 200 models are fitted with premium leather and a choice between Merino grain finished in Smoke White\/Cohiba or Smoke White\/Black. Completing the interior is a set of unique floor mats, comfort seats for both rear and front passengers and a one off badge to highlight 40 years.<\/p>\n
As you would expect, the usual\u00a0BMW 7-Series options are available including the latest iDrive onboard computer system other luxurious options.<\/p>\n
Expected to go on sale later this year. BMW 7-Series 40 Jahre can be had in standard and long-wheel base configurations with a six, eight or 12-cylinder motor powering the rear or all-four wheels.<\/p>\n
BMW has yet to announce a price for these limited edition models and we’ll catch a glimpse of the model in full later this year in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
