Aston Martin has taken to the track in what appears to be the rumoured DB11 S, \u00a0but this isn’t the first time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Set to chase after the new incredibly powerful Bentley Continental\u00a0GT Supersports<\/a>, the DB11 S will utilise\u00a0the same 5.2-litre V12 with an additional\u00a0kick. Estimates range from 630-650 horsepower which falls short compared to its rival.<\/p>\n

Current versions of the DB11 sports cars pump out 600 horsepower which allows it to launch to 100 km\/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 322 km\/h.<\/p>\n

With an additional\u00a0kick, its sprint time should drop to at least\u00a03.8 seconds or less while retaining the 320 km\/h+ top speed.<\/p>\n

While increased\u00a0power is what makes our spine tingle, the model will feature various additions to the exterior for aero benefits. We can’t dismiss a high-performance braking system and an exclusive\u00a0sports\u00a0suspension system to allow the DB11 S to sit lower down to the ground.<\/p>\n

When will the DB11 S see the light of day?<\/h3>\n

It is believed that Aston Martin will launch the new range-topping DB11 S sometime next year and should hit showroom floors by the end of 2018. Conveniently Bentley hasn’t confirmed when the new Supersports coupe will hit showrooms either or a price tag either.<\/p>\n

Prices remain a mystery as of now. However, you can expect a slight increase compared to base DB11’s. It’s worth noting the DB11 S nameplate is just a place holder at the moment, its official\u00a0name is unconfirmed.<\/p>\n
