Frankfurt may be the place to be to for auto manufacturers\u00a0to reveal their latest products. Shelby has taken to the rough outdoors to reveal their limited version of the Shelby Raptor.<\/p>\n
Its tough exterior is fitted with a ram air scoops, off-road ready bumpers and a rear chase rack with the first two certainly adding to the pickups muscular appearance.<\/p>\n
Ford has also added an LED light bar to the front end, not one but two spare tyres in the rear cargo bay and electronic side steps to either side.<\/p>\n
While the exterior remains tough and ready to tackle Big Red, each of the five seats are covered in high-grade leather and Shelby have added unique floor mats and carbon fibre trim.<\/p>\n
Each one of these heavy-duty off-road machines has a uniquely numbered plaque\u00a0adorning the centre console\u00a0reminding owners just how many Shelby Raptor Baja Editions there are around the world.<\/p>\n
Other noteworthy features include a Fox Racing 3-inch lift kit and 18-inch alloys surrounded\u00a0by BF-Goodrich off-road ready rubber.<\/p>\n
The traditional\u00a03.5-litre EcoBoost V6 is here to stay and is fitted with a cold-air intake, high-flow air filter and a slight tune from Shelby themselves. With these enhancements in tact, the V6 churns out 525 Horsepower and 826 Nm of Torque.<\/p>\n
2018 models of the off-road beast are capped at 500 units and prices start from $117,460 or AED\u00a0431,431. If you happen to already own a Raptor, you can send it back to the Factory and have it converted to a Baja Edition for $49,295 or AED\u00a0181,061.<\/p>\n
