The Dubai International Motor Show currently has its doors open for all to witness regional debuts, new cars, exciting concepts and so much more. While it is the talk of the town all around the world, manufacturers are already preparing themselves for the upcoming LA Motor show where the Lexus RX350L will be making its first appearance.<\/p>\n
Lexus is said to be offering a petrol and a hybrid powertrain. Lexus R350L models will retain the 295 horsepower 3.5-litre V6 whereas the RX450hL will benefit from a 308 hp hybrid drivetrain.<\/p>\n
Lexus hasn’t extended the wheelbase of the model. Instead, they have reportedly just extended the rear end allowing for a third row to be installed. Not only will the model allow for additional\u00a0occupants to squeeze in, but it will also offer customers increased boot space.<\/p>\n
During the LA Motor Show, Lexus will reveal the petrol variant first and promise us that the luxury crossover will retain it’s stylish design while allowing for additional\u00a0space in the rear.<\/p>\n
Lexus RX350L models are expected to go on sale early 2018.<\/p>\n
Aside from the extended model, Lexus is believed to preparing\u00a0a new lineup of smaller SUV’s which will fall under the UX nameplate. The luxury brand has already patented a few models including UX200, UX250 and UX250h.<\/p>\n
Sources indicate the UX series will indirectly replace the soon to be discounted CT hatch.<\/p>\n
