Last month, Mercedes revealed the latest Mercedes G-Wagen to usher<\/a> in a new generation prominently featuring the traditional boxy shape and a new shape of headlights. Set to launch later this year as a 2019 model,\u00a0the iconic German manufacturer\u00a0has one last hurrah for the current generation with not one, but three limited editions.<\/p>\n

Mercedes G-Wagen G500 Limited Edition<\/h3>\n

Starting with the twin-turbocharged V8, the G500 receives a coat of Platinum Magno paint complemented by a black painted front grille and spare wheel cover. Inside, the SUV benefits from black leather upholstery with complementing white stitching, gloss-black trim and an AMG steering wheel.<\/p>\n

Mercedes G-Wagen G350d Professional and Limited Edition<\/h3>\n

350d Limited Edition models are coated in Mocha Black Metallic and proudly wears a set of grey 19-inch five spoke alloys. Inside, brown leather covers the seats and dashboard while brown and black leather covers the AMG steering wheel.<\/p>\n

Standing out from the crowd is the Mercedes G-Wagen G350d Professional Limited Edition. Finished in an eye-catching China Blue shade of paint, this variant certainly looks the part sitting atop Big Red.<\/p>\n

While the paint scheme is the polar opposite of the desert it aims to tackle, the Professional benefits from\u00a0an enlarged steel front bumper, grilles, mud flaps, traditional\u00a0fender mounted\u00a0indicators and a black roof rack.<\/p>\n

Don’t let the fabric interior deter you away as the Professional Limited Edition is equipped with navigation and heated seats.<\/p>\n

Both 350d models draw power from a 241 horsepower turbo-diesel 3.0-litre V6 driving each corner.<\/p>\n

Each of the three limited edition Mercedes G-Wagen SUV’s\u00a0will have individual runs of 463 units for a total of 1,389 unique models up for grabs. As of writing, 100 units of the special G500 are heading to the US leaving at least\u00a0363 models for the world to fight over.<\/p>\n

We can guarantee\u00a0a handful of these special G-Wagen’s will find their way to the UAE and surrounding GCC countries.<\/p>\n
