The new 2019 Mercedes G-Class hasn’t even hit showrooms yet, but that won’t stop the German manufacturer\u00a0from revealing a range of unique trims and appearances to make your\u00a0G-Class stand out from the rest.<\/p>\n
Mercedes latest unveiling is the optional Stainless Steel package, and if you haven’t guessed already, the boxy SUV is fitted with stainless steel accents. Most, if not all of the\u00a0metallic surfaces can be found on the vehicles exterior and prominently\u00a0features on the rear bumper, spare tyre cover, running boards, door stripes, sill protectors and various other locations.<\/p>\n
There are no known changes to the powertrain nor are their any known stainless steel accents found on the V8 4.0-litre twin-turbo engine. In G500\/G550 guises, the motor pushes out 415 horsepower and 562 Nm of torque whereas the G63 kicks out 577 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n
Other markets will have a wider range of engines including diesel motors. It remains a mystery if the G65 with the mighty V12 will make one final appearance and there is even a possibility of a hybrid version joining in on the action in the not so distant future.<\/p>\n
Besides the Stainless Steel package, customers can also opt for the Night Package which adds a darker flair to one’s SUV and the AMG line. The range-topping AMG performance model receives its very own Night Package which is slightly different to the other one available.<\/p>\n
Mercedes latest G-Wagen will arrive in dealerships later this year as a 2019 model.<\/p>\n
