In the past week, Chevrolet has introduced a slew of updated\u00a0models for 2019 with the latest being the 2019\u00a0Chevrolet Camaro.<\/p>\n
Starting off with the front end, the latest Camaro’s looks aren’t just for show as they play a crucial role when it comes to performance. The new grille, bonnet and fascia\u00a0vents are designed for optimal airflow to keep the vehicle cool while reducing drag.<\/p>\n
Around the back, the iconic muscle car receives a new rear end with RS and SS trim levels receiving a unique rear diffuser and Dual Mode Exhaust along with a bespoke set of 20-inch alloys.<\/p>\n
New LED rear taillights\u00a0complete the rear with each trim level getting their own signature design elements. LS and LT variants have red lenses while RS, SS and ZL1 sport dark tints.<\/p>\n
2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS models can be spotted thanks to a unique\u00a0bonnet design, “flowtie” open bowtie grille emblem, headlamps and aero-enhancing air curtains.<\/p>\n
RS models add a polished black grille with Galvano Chrome inserts, and bespoke signature LED light bar and LED headlights.<\/p>\n
The 2019\u00a0Chevrolet Camaro is fitted with a 7-inch colour touchscreen as standard with an 8-inch\u00a0touchscreen being available as an option.<\/p>\n
Additionally, 2SS and ZL1 models are fitted with a standard rear camera which offers a larger field of view. Optional extras include an enhanced\u00a0Performance Data Recorder and Forward Collision Alert.<\/p>\n
The latest addition to the expansive Camaro lineup, a new turbocharged unit joins the fray. Exclusively\u00a0available with a six-speed manual gearbox, the American coupe is fitted with a 2.0-litre petrol engine rated 275 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n
Another exclusive feature the Turbo 1LE receives is FE3 suspension. This adds larger front and rear stabiliser bars along with specifically tuned dampers and stiffer rear cradle bushings.\u00a0The Turbo 1LE is also fitted with Brembo Brakes with low-metallic performance pads.<\/p>\n
Drivers are treated to a standard sueded\u00a0flat-bottom steering wheel and shifter, Driver Mode Selector with Sport Mode and a dedicated Track Mode. Competition mode which includes launch control, instrument readouts, shift lights and more.<\/p>\n
