MG Motor has introduced a new and exciting application for MG owners in Middle Eastern Markets, making life that much easier for MG customers. The smartphone application is the first of its kind within the region to combine both dynamic and service features in one easy to use location, providing users with a direct connection with their vehicle.<\/p>\n
Compatible across the MG range, the smart application allows users to track their vehicles whereabouts via geo-location identification, helping owners find where their vehicle if they forgot where they parked it or if one’s children aren’t back when they said they would be after borrowing the car. MG iLink has one somewhat unique feature – punch sensor technology. If the first thing that came to your mind was the vehicle detecting someone punching your car, you’re very close.<\/p>\n
This ingenious system detects if the vehicle is damaged, whether it is parked, driven by someone else or valet driver.<\/p>\n
Users can also use the application to pre-cool their vehicle during the gruelling summer heat across the Middle East and can schedule a time for the engine to be turned on for an hour every day.<\/p>\n
Driving history can also be tracked via iLink and can monitor driving behaviour, how much fuel one has used over a specified period of time, locations visited and total fuel costs. By viewing the history owners can double check and ensure anyone borrowing their MG is driving safely.<\/p>\n
