Lamborghini’s iconic Jota<\/a> nameplate returns, this time attached the brands range-topping\u00a0model. To one day join the likes of the Diablo Jota, Miura Jota and Aventador J, the Aventador SVJ is on its way and is ready to tame the mighty Nurburgring Nordschleife.<\/p>\n

This won’t be the first time the Italians have taken an Aventador to the German track, as the SV version raced up and down the countryside in an impressive 6:59. At the time, it was Lamborghini’s fastest model around the circuit until the Huracan Performante was conceived and set a time of 6:52.<\/p>\n

The Aventador SVJ is not just up against other Raging Bull’s but the current Production Car lap\u00a0record holder; the Porsche 911 GT2 RS.<\/p>\n

Before you ask, the fancy camo paint job won’t be on the options list, but the Aventador SVJ will have much more aggressive\u00a0bodywork with additional\u00a0aero benefit, and we know what that did for the Huracan Performante’s lap time.<\/p>\n

With a new name comes additional\u00a0power and this is certainly the case for the Aventador SVJ. The current Aventador S currently produces 730 horsepower, the SVJ produces a mega 790 horses from the same 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine. Pair that with a lightweight package and its no wonder the Raging Bull is eyeing up a track record at the world-famous Nordschleife.<\/p>\n
