Unveiled in China earlier today, the 2019\u00a0Porsche Macan has arrived with Porsche’s latest styling cues found on the 911, Panamera and even 918 plus a redesigned cabin with plenty of tech.<\/p>\n
While the changes upfront are subtle, the rear end prominently\u00a0features Porsche’s new three-dimensional\u00a0LED strip extending\u00a0from either side matching the rest of Stuttgart’s\u00a0lineup. Up front, the 2019\u00a0Porsche Macan receives reshaped LED headlights as standard with Porsche’s Dynamic Light System Plus available as optional.<\/p>\n
Along with the facelift, the latest Macan comes with a wide range of new driver assistance features which includes Porsche’s Traffic Assist.<\/p>\n
Moving on to the interior, Porsche has gotten rid of the 7-inch touchscreen media display and in its place, a customisable 11-inch unit. The dashboard cluster is also new, and the air-con vents have been moved and now sit below the previously mentioned system.<\/p>\n
Additionally, drivers can swap out the standard steering wheel for an optional GT sports wheel.<\/p>\n
Beneath the revised exterior, the 2019 Porsche Macan rides on an optimised chassis allowing for sports car like reflexes even though its an SUV and at the same time, offering stability and improved comfort.<\/p>\n
Porsche did leave one thing out of the announcement; what drives the 2019 Porsche Macan? Automatic transmission and all-wheel drive will most likely\u00a0continue as the norm as will the entry-level 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Higher trims will\u00a0presumably come with a 3.6-litre V6, but not the ones currently being used.<\/p>\n
2019 Macan S and GTS models are expected to be shipped with a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6, while the Turbo will be equipped with a 2.9-litre V6 turbo unit.<\/p>\n
Customers can acquire their\u00a02019 Porsche Macan in a number of new colours including the eye-catching Miami Blue pictured, Mamba Green Metallic, Crayon and Dolomite Silver Metallic pair any of these with the new interior packages and the possibilities\u00a0are endless.<\/p>\n
Porsche have yet to drop any information\u00a0about a launch window but it should be available in Europe later this year and will most likely go on sale in the Middle East shortly afterwards or early 2019.<\/p>\n
