Bugatti, Koenigsegg and Pagani rule supreme in the lighting fast hypercars and soon enough there could be a fourth model entering the fray. A small Austrian car company want to be the fourth with their Milan Red sports car.<\/p>\n
Stacking up head to head with the three won’t be easy as the vehicle will have to have monumentous amounts of horsepower, lightweight construction, radical design and a ridiculous 0-100 km\/h time.<\/p>\n
Weighing in at 1,300 kg thanks to carbon-fibre made panels and a carbon fibre monocoque, the Red is a sight to behold.<\/p>\n
While looking the part, the rear wing is not just there for aesthetic reasons as it doubles up as an air brake to aid the carbon ceramic\u00a0Brembo brakes bolted to each corner.<\/p>\n
Beneath the bodywork is a quad-turbocharged 6.2-litre V8 engine rated at 1,306 horsepower and 1,400 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear axle via a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic gearbox.<\/p>\n
Milan Automotive claims the Red sprints from 0-100 km\/h in just 2.47 seconds which is on par with the Chiron. 0-200 km\/h, 5.46 seconds and 0-300 km\/h in 9.98 seconds. Pair that with a top speed of 400 km\/h and the Milan Red is in it to win it.<\/p>\n
The Milan Red will be limited to just 99 units with the Austrian brand already claiming 18 are already accounted for. Prices start at $2.33 million or AED\u00a08.56 million.<\/p>\n
Albeit it will no doubt be a rare sight indeed, one or more Milan Red cars are bound to be spotted in the UAE.<\/p>\n
