Overwhelming reviews of the DBS Superleggera from all over the world have\u00a0started to pour in from the worlds leading automotive publications, but that won’t stop AMR as they already have plans for an even hotter, faster and lighter version of the recently launched sports car.<\/p>\n
With the Ferrari 812 Superfast firmly in its sights, the DBS Superleggera AMR’s twin-turbo 5.2-litre V12 will be taken back behind closed doors and will be engineered with some minor tweaks to produce a speculated 750 horsepower, a modest increase\u00a0over the current version which\u00a0produces 715 hp.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, if we turn our attention to the DB11 AMR upgrades, we’ve got a feeling the DBS Superleggera AMR will receive new spring rates and revised adaptive dampers better suited for blasting full speed around your local race track. Rumour has it the changes don’t stop there as the sports car will launch with a custom rear limited-slip differential to further improve its performance.<\/p>\n
Aston Martin will also extend the modifications and install lightweight materials on the DBS Superleggera AMR. This will include carbon fibre inside and out plus other lighter materials.<\/p>\n
And with the engine uprated and weight loss, top speed and acceleration will no doubt increase.
