Jaguar nowadays is fully focused on SUV’s, crossovers, saloons and all-electric vehicles, but over the years, they also created a number of sports cars including the current Jaguar F-Type.<\/p>\n
Known as the Chequered\u00a0Flag Edition, the unique F-Type marks seven decades since the launch of the XK120 which first rolled out of the factory in 1948. Over the years, Jaguar has created some notable sports cars including the XK, XJ220 and the E-Type.<\/p>\n
Based on the R-Dynamic trim with the Exterior Design Package, the Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag receives a bespoke contrasting black roof with unique\u00a020-inch alloys attached to each corner with red brake calipers\u00a0hidden behind.<\/p>\n
Inside, the special edition model is fitted with Windsor Leather upholstery, custom badging and embroidery inside and out,\u00a0performance seats, a special steering wheel with a red 12 O’Clock stripe and dark brushed aluminium trim on the centre console.<\/p>\n
The Chequered Flag edition Jaguar F-Type can be had as either a coupe or convertible, and is available with either the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged\u00a0petrol engine with 296 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque or the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 rated at 380 hp and 460 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n
Both are connected to an eight-speed automatic\u00a0gearbox with rear-wheel drive as standard. The V6 can be had with all-wheel drive.<\/p>\n
On top of the new edition being added to the lineup, the Jaguar F-Type R gets upgraded suspension with softer dampers and components\u00a0borrowed from the SVR.<\/p>\n
