After successfully\u00a0launching the all-new 2019\u00a0Continental Coupe<\/a> last year, it was only a matter of time before the\u00a0Bentley Continental GT Convertible was to be revealed.<\/p>\n

That time has come and the drop-top variant\u00a0sports the same sleek redesign as the Coupe plus a handful of unique features.<\/p>\n

Inside, the\u00a0Bentley Continental GT Convertible is identical to its fixed-roof sibling, with a flowing ultra-luxurious cabin, a rotating 12.3-inch high-definition infotainment system and a fine selection of material accents including a metal, leather and wooden veneers.<\/p>\n

On the plus side, the Convertible\u00a0Bentley does come with a handful of unique features not found on the Coupe. For starters, there is the most obvious one, the Z-fold soft top folding roof. The not so obvious ones are the neckwarmer system and heated armrest to keep you warm while the top is down.<\/p>\n

Going back to roof, the tailored soft top can be recessed or deployed in 19 seconds at speeds of up 50 km\/h. Bentley also has seven bespoke clours to choose from and for the first time ever an authentic tweed finish.<\/p>\n

The driving force behind the all-new\u00a0Bentley Continental GT Convertible is a familiar 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine connected\u00a0to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.<\/p>\n

Power figures are identical to the fixed-roof model with the engine producing 626 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n

The GT Convertible sprints from 0-100 km\/h in 3.8 seconds and is more than capable of hitting a top speed of 333 km\/h which is identical to the Coupe variant even though the Convertible\u00a0weighs 160kg more due to the new roof.<\/p>\n
