Every year, auto car manufacturers are always aiming to keep up with the growing trend of the car industry, making sure not to be left out of the customers eyes and buying process. Mazda is in position to do the same with its CX-9 crossover adding loads of features to keep it up-to-date and showing it off produly at the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show.<\/p>\n

\"2017<\/a>Much of the desgin has been inspired by other updated vehicles in the Mazda ranks, most notably both front and rear end, these new ends give the vehicle a more prominent look. It has shrunk\u00a0<\/i><\/b>a bit though, as it measures in at a height of 5,065mm which is 30mm shorter than current CX-9’s. Its wheelbase has been extended by 55mm.<\/p>\n

\"2017<\/a>Inside up to seven people can fit and in higher trims there are plenty of optional extra’s to choose from: Bose premium sound system, media inputs, LED ambient lighting, heads-up display, 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth pairing, navigation and a variety of music streaming apps. Analog dashboard equipment seems to be on the way out in most vehicles as the new Mazda CX-9 benefits from a 4.6-inch display for all readings.<\/p>\n

\"2017<\/a>Thicker windows and more enhanced sound proofing has been thrown into the mix for a quieter ride inside, whilst driving at 100 km\/h.\u00a0A few kilos have been lost in the process, 90kg for front-wheel drive versions and 130kg ones with AWD equipped<\/p>\n

Safety is a big thing for Mazda as is the case with any manufacturer\u00a0in this day and age, technology such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, high beam control, smart brake support, distance recognition support system and the list goes on and on.\u00a0All mentioned and unmentioned are to be\u00a0implemented in order to keep occupants as safe as possible, and there is no mention of what will come as standard.<\/p>\n

\"2017<\/a>Unfortunately, the Japanese auto company has decided to drop the V6 power unit and opt for a more fuel economical 2.5 litre four cylinder equipped with a fancy new turbocharger, a Dynamic Pressure Turbo for those wondering. This new piece power plant produces anywhere between 227 and 250 horsepower depending on what petrol you fill it up with, in the US maybe not here as we have 91, 95, 98 and Diesel.<\/p>\n

\"2017<\/a>A multitude of colours are on offer for coating Mazda CX-9’s in including: Soul Red, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Jet Black, Machine Grey, Snowflake White Pearl and Titanium Flash. Not all colours may be available here, before you get really excited about a Titanium Flash CX-9, check with your dealer first. New rim sizes can be fitted to roll on tarmac with, 18 to 20″ inch rims are to choose\u00a0from depending on trim levels<\/p>\n

Next-gen Mazda CX-9 crossovers are set to go on sale early to mid 2016 at least in the States, the Middle East should follow shortly afterwards, and\u00a0are to arrive as 2017 models.
