Teased over the past couple of weeks, Mercedes have officially revealed their latest youth-focused\u00a0saloon, the Mercedes-AMG A35 to sit alongside the hatchback<\/a> version.<\/p>\n

As with the hatchback, the saloon version packs a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine rated at a respectable 302 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. As it is equipped with Mercedes’s token 4Matic system, drive is sent to all four wheels allowing for a 0-100 km\/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km\/h.<\/p>\n

Not only does it get the same engine, but the punchy saloon also gets sportier components\u00a0to stand out from\u00a0other A-Class saloon’s.<\/p>\n

These include a set of 18-inch alloys and a front splitter with silver chrome trim. Other additions include dual tailpipes, rear diffuser and AMG Line side skirts.<\/p>\n

Customers can further tweak the exterior with the AMG Night package and AMG Aerodynamics Package.<\/p>\n

Inside, the Mercedes-AMG is equipped with the latest AMG steering wheel complete with leather grip and red contrast stitching.<\/p>\n

The latest generation MBUX infotainment system also makes its way into the cabin and sits next to the fully digital dashboard.<\/p>\n

Drivers have the option of choosing five distinct drive modes, all offering something\u00a0different; Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport + and Individual. All five modes alter various components\u00a0of the vehicle including the engine and transmission.<\/p>\n

No announcement\u00a0has been made when the Mercedes-AMG A35 saloon will arrive in the UAE or how much it will cost. It is expected to premiere at the New York Auto Show.<\/p>\n
