Now in its third generation, the Cayenne family is expanding with the introduction of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe with a sloped roofline and sporty design to rival the X6, GLE Coupe and Q8.<\/p>\n
Serving as an alternative to the popular SUV, highlights include sharper lines, a “unique” rear end design, an adaptive rear spoiler and either a panoramic fixed glass roof as standard or an optional\u00a0carbon fibre one.<\/p>\n
Compared to the regular version, the Cayenne Coupe has a lower roofline\u00a0and shallower A-pillar and front windshield. Other parts of the vehicle’s redesign include the rear quarter panels and door plus the previously mentioned rear spoiler that extends by 134.6 mm at speeds of up to 90 km\/h.<\/p>\n
The carbon fibre roof option is a first for the Cayenne lineup and is exclusive to the Coupe lineup.<\/p>\n
As standard, all Cayenne Coupe models get Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as are 20-inch wheels and the Sport Chrono Package. Inside, eight-way power Sports seats are standard with the option of comfort rear seats.<\/p>\n
Porsche’s latest Cayenne has two high-performance engines. Starting with the six-cylinder turbocharged 3.0-litre engine good for 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. With the optional Sport Chrono Package equipped, the vehicle launches to 100 km\/h in 6 seconds.<\/p>\n
That figure drops to 5.9 seconds with the optional lightweight sports package.<\/p>\n
The top-of-the-range Cayenne Turbo Coupe sets off with a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine with 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque. This allows the model to spring from 0-100 km\/h in 3.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 286 Km\/h.<\/p>\n
The new Porsche Cayenne Coupe is available to order in the UAE as of writing. However, no pricing has been announced.<\/p>\n
