Earlier this month, Al Futtaim Toyota launched the highly anticipated 2019 Toyota Rav4 in the UAE.<\/p>\n
Sporting a fresh face, overall redesign<\/a> and a plush new cabin, the real highlight is the introduction of Toyota’s first ever hybrid SUV in the UAE.<\/p>\n Four trim levels are available, starting with the two-wheel drive GX, 4×4 GXR, 4×4 Adventure and the previously mentioned VXR HEV.<\/p>\n No matter the trim level, all 2019 Toyota Rav4 models are fitted with a rear-view camera, fabric seats and a 9-inch infotainment system.<\/p>\n 2019 Toyota Rav4 models purchased in the UAE come with seven airbags as standard as well as traction control, ABS and stability control<\/a>. Aside from the standard features, 19 new options are available including the Multi-terrain Select system which helps the Rav4 out in trickier terrains.<\/p>\n All models are equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox connected to a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine which produces 203 horsepower and 243 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n The 2019 Toyota Rav4 VXR HEV is powered by a 2.5-litre engine with an electric motor. 219 hp and 342 Nm of torque is channelled to the wheels via a CVT.<\/p>\n In the UAE, the 2019 Toyota Rav4 starts at AED 99,000 for the 2WD GX, AED 119,900 for the AWD GXR and AED 129,900 for the Adventure.
