Following in the footsteps of GM’s 2019 Chevrolet Silverado<\/a> that launched in the region last week, the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra has also arrived in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

“After showcasing the new 2019 GMC Sierra at special events in the region, customers across the Middle East can now drive off in one themselves,” said Daniella D’Souza, Head of Brand, GMC Middle East.<\/p>\n

“Not only will they be able to enjoy the significant benefits provided by the completely re-designed 2019 Sierra, but, for the first time, they will also have six different versions to choose from.” Continued D’Souza.<\/p>\n

New trims, new 2019 GMC Sierra<\/h3>\n

The latest iteration of the luxury pickup is available in no less than six trims including the returning Sierra, SLE, SLT and premium Denali trim. The other two trim levels are new for 2019.<\/p>\n

Starting with the AT4, targeted towards those with an active lifestyle, the new trim level offers dark exterior finishes, a factory installed 2-inch suspension lift kit, off-road tuned Rancho monotube shock absorbers and an innovative Traction Select System.<\/p>\n

For the first time in the region, the Elevation trim level sets itself apart from the rest of the lineup with distinct monochromatic door handles, bumpers and grille surround, dark accents, and available 20-inch gloss-black aluminium wheels.<\/p>\n

The all-new 2019 GMC Sierra has been completely redesigned and is significantly larger compared to the outgoing model.\u00a0 Riding on a longer wheelbase and longer crew cab body, rear passengers can enjoy an additional 8 cm of legroom.<\/p>\n

GMC has refined the vehicles powerful presence with muscular fenders and a tall, powerful bonnet with a larger and bolder front grille.<\/p>\n

What drives the 2019 GMC Sierra?<\/h3>\n

For 2019, the GMC Sierra can be had with four different engines. Depending on the model, customers can choose from an all-new 2.7-litre turbocharged unit, a 4.3-litre V6 and a next-generation 5.3-litre V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management. All are connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.<\/p>\n

Last but not least is the 6.2-litre V8 which is standard on the Denali and available on the AT4 connected to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The most powerful motor available features stop\/start technology and new Dynamic Fuel Management that enables the engine to run on just to cylinders to optimise power and efficiency.<\/p>\n
