Earlier this week at a private event held at the exquisite Bulgari Hotel Yacht Club, Al Tayer Motors, the official dealer for Ferrari in the region pulled the covers off the Ferrari F8 Tributo.<\/p>\n
Designed in-house at the Ferrari Styling Centre, the F8 Tributo is an evolution of its predecessor, the 488 GTB, Ferrari’s latest sports car is the most aerodynamic mid-engined Berlinetta ever to roll out of Maranello.<\/p>\n
“The Ferrari F8 Tributo has made waves internationally since images of the car were unveiled ahead of its official launch at the Geneva Motor Show. Interest in the car has been very strong, and we look forward to seeing the car join many Prancing Horse models in the UAE,” said Raid Abusitta, vice-president-sale, Ferrari at Al Tayer Motors.<\/p>\n
Underneath the extravagant exterior is a turbocharged V8 petrol engine driving the rear wheels. Rated at 710 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, the engine is the most powerful motor to be installed in a Ferrari outside of the Special-Series.<\/p>\n
Compared to the outgoing 488GTB, the F8 Tributo packs nearly 50 horsepower more and tips the scales at 40 kilos less while boasting a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency.<\/p>\n
The turbocharged V8 has already been used in other models in the Ferrari lineup with different outputs and has won “Best Engine” at the International Engine of the Year awards not once, but three times consecutively (2016, 2017 and 2018).<\/p>\n
In 2018, the potent engine used in the Ferrari F8 Tributo also earned the title of the best engine of the last two decades.<\/p>\n
The Ferrari F8 Tributo is now available at Al Tayer Showrooms in Dubai and Premier Motors in Abu Dhabi with a seven-year maintenance package.<\/p>\n
