With the recent launch of the all-new Ford Edge in the country, the Blue Oval has also launched their ST model in the guise of the 2019 Ford Edge ST with a powerful presence and engine to match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-new 2019 Ford Edge ST which so happens to be the first SUV to be tuned by the Ford Performance team packs quite a punch. Dropped in the engine bay is V6 twin-tubrocharged finely tuned 2.7-litre EcoBoost motor pumping out 335 horsepower and 515 Nm of torque. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With numbers like that, the Edge ST is a serious contender in the hot crossover segment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The all-new Edge ST is a performance SUV with a track mentality,” explained Adriaan Coetzee, Director, Product Marketing, Ford Middle East & Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it’s not just about power with the 2019 Ford Edge, adding to its powerful credentials is a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic gearbox and standard all-wheel drive with selectable traction control. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the crossover can be fitted with ST-tuned sport suspension and a performance brake package. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the styling, a powerful engine wouldn’t be complete without aggressive styling which is exactly what the 2019 Ford Edge ST gets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New styling cues appear on both ends of the vehicle along with a wide grille for enhanced cooling, dual-exhaust outlets, large 21-inch alloys and deep side skirts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 2019, Ford has added the Ford Co-Pilot Assist as standard and includes a wide range of safety features; including blind spot information system, pre-collision assist, lane keep assist and cross-traffic alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, drivers and passengers alike will find an 8-inch touchscreen, premium audio system and a wireless charging pad as standard plus the usual gadgets and features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pricing has not been announced, but the vehicle is available via the official Ford dealerships in the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
