Al Tayer Motors, the official importer and dealer for the Ford vehicles in the UAE has commissioned a very special edition of the 2019 Expedition<\/a>. Available right now across the UAE, the Ford Expedition Turath is a one-of-a-kind vehicle built especially for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Turath, the Arabic word for heritage, is a tribute to the UAE, which is a symbol of peace, modernity and tradition in the Arab World. Inspired by the ‘Year of Tolerance’, the Ford Expedition Turath has been customised and designed in-house to reflect the heritage of the great young, modern, and tolerant nation that the UAE is today,” said Helal Hanei Omar, Senior Vice-President – Ford, Al Tayer Motors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it has been designed in-house, the 8-seater SUV has a horizontal red and black stripe running just under the windows and features the UAE Flag and Expedition name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attached to the rear liftgate is an outline of the Country complete with the colours of the flag, while on the C-pillar is an emblem displaying the UAE’s Founding Fathers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The special edition Expedition is fitted with black gloss painted alloy wheels, exterior side mirrors, as well as front and rear bumpers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the SUV is fitted with a number of smart features and new technologies to keep all inside safe, but that’s not the biggest attention grabber here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That would be the motif embroidered into the headrests which feature the UAE’s Founding Fathers with the UAE flag. A custom made badge of the Founding Fathers also appears on the glove box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ford Expedition Turath comes with a price tag of AED 286,181 including VAT, and is now available at Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors across the UAE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
