It’s official, MG’s first foray into the family SUV segment has arrived in the Middle East with the all-new MG RX8. With bold styling, the RX8 offers plenty of options and room for seven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With smooth lines and a commanding presence, the RX8 stands out with a chrome grille and double-slot bonnet. Either side is flanked by sharp headlights (LED’s on higher trims) while the rear end features a twin chrome exhaust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, all can look forward to dual-zone climate control, cruise control, push-start engine and a panoramic sunroof. All of which is standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Higher trim levels have access to a wireless phone charger, 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power tailgate, 7-inch digital dipslay, ventilated seats, and an eight-speaker audio system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only one engine is available, a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 220 hp and 360 Nm of torque. Connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, the MG RX8 offers real-time Torque on Demand (TOD) system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built on a tough truck chassis frame, the robust seven-seater offers drivers an advanced 4WD system with six different driving modes including Off-road, Sport and Auto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for safety, as standard, the MG RX8 comes with a wide range of tech including front and rear sensors with rearview camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, front, side and curtain airbags and active rollover protection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warning system are present on higher trims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices in the Middle East for the MG RX8 start at USD 21,850 (AED 80,255) and go up to USD 25,700 (AED 94,396) for the top-of-the-range MG RX8. Prices exclude VAT but do include a six-year or 200,000 km warranty as standard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
