Earlier this week, Al Yousuf Motors, the exclusive distributor for MG vehicles in the UAE, hosted the debut of the all-new MG MG5 in the Emirates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completely redesigned from the ground up, the latest MG5 saloon has sharp lines with alluring ‘lightning blade’ LED daytime running headlights flanking a chrome Wingspan grille. LED lights illuminate the rear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have been exclusive partners with MG Motor for over a year now and we have already seen the popularity of the brand grow amongst the Emirates’ motorists.” Said Mohammed Iqbal Al Yousuf, Deputy President – Marketing, Al Yousuf Motors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the MG5, he continued “Now with the addition of the fantastic new MG5 and a further two models to come before the end of the year, we look forward to welcoming even more new car buyers to our showroom.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the MG MG5 has a long list of premium features available including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric seats and sunroof. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powering the front wheels of the compact saloon is a 1.5-litre petrol engine rated at 110 hp and 150 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The MG5 features a dual cooling cycle along with an engine management system developed by BOSCH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices in the UAE start at USD 9,900 (AED 36,362) for the entry-level model, USD 10,800 (AED 39,668) for the mid-range and USD 12,600 (AED 46,279) for the top-of-the-range version. Prices mentioned do not include VAT but does include a six-year manufacturer’s warranty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MG MG5 is one of three MG cars to launch before the end of 2019. Others include the MG RX8<\/a> and the MG HS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
