Earlier this week, we took a drive down to the Palm Jumeirah. Not to check out the beautiful landscape or anything, we were there to see the new 2020 Volvo S60!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture platform, the latest S60 features all the new-classic Volvo styling cues. With Volvo’s signature distinctive waterfall grille flanked by T-shaped ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED headlight design, the S60 leaves a lasting impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The new S60 is one of the most exciting Volvo cars around,” said Oscar Rivoli, Managing Director of Trading Enterprises. “It is a true driver’s car that brings acclaimed technology from the 90 series and the 60 series into this segment, making it one of the best sports sedans in the market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the bold looks comes a long list of options, including Volvo Cars’ Sensus Connect infotainment system. Fully compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 4G, drivers stay connected at all times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this is controlled via a tablet-styled touch screen interface that combines car functions, navigation, connected services and in-car entertainment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s safety, and then there’s Volvo S60 safety<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

On top of all the options, owners can add the optional Pilot Assist system. Supporting the driver with steering, acceleration and braking on well-marked roads at speeds of up to 130km\/h. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The safety system has been updated for the 2020 Volvo S60 with the addition of improved cornering performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also available is the Run-Off Road Mitigation, Oncoming Lane Mitigation and other steering systems. The optional Cross Traffic Alert with auto brake further enhances safety for people inside and outside the car. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest S60 is available with two 2.0-litre turbocharged engines – T5 and T4 – both of which are connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The T5 produces 250 bhp and 350Nm of torque, while the T4 engine delivers 187 bhp 300 Nm of torque. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2020 Volvo S60 is available across all Trading Enterprises – Volvo showrooms starting at AED 159,900 for the T4 Inscription. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
