In 2022, the Japanese luxury car brand unveiled the fifth-generation RX SUV to the world. At the time, the RX was introduced with 3 standard hybrid electric powertrain options. Now, Lexus has taken wraps off the RX 450h+ and unlike other variants, this one is a plug-in hybrid SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>RX 450h+ Availability &amp; Pricing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lexus RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid SUV is currently launched in the USA and is priced at $70,080, which translates to over AED 250,000 as of August 2023. The SUV will go on sale in America, later this year. The RX 450h+ and the plug-in hybrid NX share a similar PHEV setup, featuring a 2.5-litre inline-four-cylinder petrol engine. As for the electric setup, the SUV uses two electric motors connected to an 18.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The engine and electric powertrain together produce a peak output of 304hp. The power is sent to all four wheels all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Acceleration (0 to 60mph): 6.2 seconds<\/li><li>Top Speed (Electronically Limited): 124mph (200kmph)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The RX 450h+ features an all-electric range of 56km on a single battery charge. The hybrid SUV is offered with a Level 1 charging cable designed for use with 120V outlets. However, It has a 6.6kW onboard charger that can charge the battery pack in two and a half hours using a 240V outlet. It continues to feature the large radiator grille up front finished in black to compliment the RX\u2019s SUV looks. The side profile continues to feature the sloping roofline effect to give it more panache. But the best feature of the RX is its lighting. The sleek-looking headlamp and the taillamps look wicked. The dashboard, instrument cluster and Head-Up Display are driver-oriented and easy to reach.
