Instead of starting with a regular car and turning it into an electric one, they began with an electric car and added some conventional features. The lower-spec variant features a 99kW electric motor paired with a 48.6kWh battery pack producing 133hp and 255Nm. This variant of the Kona EV features a range of 317km per charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the higher-spec variant of the Kona Electric features a 150kW electric motor paired with a 64.8kWh battery pack producing 201hp and 255Nm. This variant of the Kona EV features a range of 420km per charge.
