This marked the Middle-East debut for Lynk &amp; Co and the brand is expected to launch its cars in the UAE and other GCC nations by 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynk &amp; Co is an automotive brand formed by the joint venture between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/new-cars\/geely\">Geely<\/a> Auto Group &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/new-cars\/volvo\">Volvo<\/a> Car Group. The brand produces cars that cater to several segments and most of its cars feature funky designs &amp; styling. It was the first car developed by Lynk &amp; Co and was first launched in 2017. It underwent a facelift in 2021 and then another redesign in 2022. In typical Lynk &amp; Co fashion, the headlamps are mounted right on top. The Lynk &amp; Co 01 is currently available with petrol, hybrid, and PHEV powertrain options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highest-performance engine on offer is the T4 EVO which is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol inline-4 engine producing 215hp and 325Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. At first glance, one might even think of it as the Lynk &amp; Co 01. However, there are a few subtle differences that set it apart. It is built on Volvo\u2019s Compact Modular Architecture platform which also underpins the likes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/new-cars\/volvo\/xc-40\">Volvo XC40<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67057\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 300w, https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 768w, https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/d3jvxfsgjxj1vz.cloudfront.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/12155701\/Photo-06-10-2023-9-29-17-PM.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is available with a 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain and those interested in more performance can opt for the bigger 2.0-litre T4 engine. A high-performance version is also available. Called the Lynk &amp; Co 05+, the SUV is powered by a tuned-up version of the 2.0-litre engine producing 265hp and 380Nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lynk &amp; Co 09<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is currently the largest SUV in the Lynk &amp; Co product lineup. It went into production in 2021 and shares its underpinnings with the likes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/new-cars\/volvo\/xc-90\">Volvo XC90<\/a> as both of them are based on the Volvo SPA platform. Buyers can configure the SUV to fit six or seven seats. The first is a mild hybrid powertrain with a 48-volt battery. The second is a conventional hybrid which includes an electric motor and a battery for assisted driving however, the battery can only be charged by regenerative braking. The third and most advanced option is a PHEV wherein the battery can be charged using an external socket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lynk &amp; Co 03+<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 03 is a compact sedan manufactured by Lynk &amp; Co. Keeping in mind the needs of performance enthusiasts, Lynk &amp; Co launched a high-performance version of the little sedan. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic and the sedan is capable of accelerating from 0-100km\/h in just 5.7 seconds.
