The Leaf is priced at around $30,000 (AED 110,000), and the larger Ariya<\/a> SUV costs around $40,000 (AED 147,000), which might be a bit much for folks watching their wallets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Uchida says that things are changing, with people making more money and being more interested in electric cars. But, there’s a new problem: car prices are going up, thanks to interest rates doing their own thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even with these challenges, there’s some good news brewing. Uchida hinted that Nissan is cooking up a plan for more affordable and smaller EVs in international markets. He mentioned that making electric cars is getting cheaper, and we might see these pocket-friendly EVs hitting the streets sooner than we thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
