A performance pickup truck unlike any other \u2014 that\u2019s exactly what the Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition is. German high-performance tuning brand Brabus is well-known for Transforming already extraordinary cars into other-worldly creations. This performance pickup truck stands as a testament to their insane capabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this edition of Exotic Cars on DubiCars, we take a closer look at this Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition<\/a> listed by Stoub Biz on DubiCars. Yes, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG G63, but the similarities end there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brabus has tinkered with almost everything on the SUV and turned it into a pickup truck on steroids. In addition, only 10 units of the Brabus P 900 Rocket were manufactured, making it super exclusive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design & Styling: Low-Riding Super Pickup Truck<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When one thinks of a high-performance pickup truck, images of a large pickup with long travel suspension and large chunky off-road wheels shod with all-terrain tyres flood the mind. The Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition, however, isn\u2019t your typical performance pickup truck. Instead of increasing the ride height, Brabus has decreased it. This gives it a unique and low-down stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brabus Widestar design concept is prominently featured with lots of carbon fibre elements around the pickup truck. Up front is the unmistakable G63 silhouette with the addition of the Rocket Red elements on the grille and lower lip in the signature Brabus style. The massive 24-inch Brabus Monoblock \u2018Platinum Edition\u2019 forged wheels<\/a> show off the carbon fibre disc along with the rocket red outline. The illuminated side-mounted exhaust outlets further add to the aggressive design language. The side profile carries over half of the silhouette of the Mercedes<\/a>-AMG G63 as the rear bit of the roof has been chopped off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, you find a chunky roll bar and a large load bay. The rear bumper with diffuser and the wheel flares are also a part of the Widestar concept. The Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition is a pickup truck that\u2019s capable of making the little kid in you super excited, just by the way it looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior: Sporty & Exquisite<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a cockpit designed to thrill. Without a doubt, it is the sportiest interior<\/a> in a limited-edition pickup truck. The premium materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and state-of-the-art technology make this an exciting place to be in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You find Black leather upholstery and carbon fibre elements all over. Those familiar with the G-Wagen\u2019s interior would notice all the metal bits of the interior usually finished in silver are now Rocket Red in colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And let’s not forget the comfortable yet supportive seats that keep you firmly planted during high-speed manoeuvres. The design of these seats is exquisite too. Mercedes\u2019 signature dual 12.3-inch screens handle instrumentation and infotainment<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the rear, you find luxurious captain seats with a feature-packed centre console that includes folding tables, cup holders, bottle refrigerators, and a slot to place your smartphone. The roof-mounted gauges are a nice touch, giving passengers an accurate readout on the vehicle speed, ambient temperature, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engine & Performance: Endless Upgrades<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Brabus fiddles with a car, they don\u2019t just add a mad body kit to a car and call it quits. The engineers thankfully work their magic on the engine<\/a> and powertrain as well. The Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition is all about what\u2019s under the bonnet. It is based on the G63 AMG, so it still uses the AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine<\/a> as the base. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
