The M Compound brakes have six-piston fixed-calliper brakes at the front axle and single-piston floating-calliper brakes at the rear. The M Carbon ceramic brakes are lighter and offer stronger braking power and greater fade resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-weight-dilemma\"><strong>Weight Dilemma<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The M5 tips the scales at a hefty 2,445kg. This is a significant increase compared to the previous generation M5, which came in at around 1,892kg. The biggest contributor to the weight gain is the M5&#8217;s plug-in hybrid system. Interestingly, the all-electric i5 comes in lighter than the M5. The i5 M60 weighs in at around 2,305kg. This is despite the i5 packing a large battery for its electric range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bmw-m5-in-the-uae\"><strong>BMW M5 In The UAE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new 2025 BMW M5 is expected to launch in the UAE in the coming months and could be priced at around <strong>AED 500,000<\/strong>.
