Two new bridges located at Za\u2019abeel and Al Quoz 1 have been opened towards Jebel Ali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-za-abeel-bridge-nbsp\"><strong>Za\u2019abeel Bridge&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Za\u2019abeel Bridge is a 700-meter-long structure with three lanes. It connects traffic from Za\u2019abeel Palace Street and Oud Metha Street to Al Khail Road in the direction of Jebel Ali. With a capacity of 4,800 vehicles per hour, this bridge is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion at the Za\u2019abeel intersection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-al-quoz-1-bridge\"><strong>Al Quoz 1 Bridge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Al Quoz 1 Bridge is slightly shorter than the Za\u2019abeel Bridge, extending 650 meters. It provides a vital link from Business Bay Crossing to its intersection with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road development project is part of RTA\u2019s strategy to expand and upgrade Dubai\u2019s road network to support the city&#8217;s rapid urban growth and evolving transportation needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of now, 80% of the project has been completed, with extensive works including the construction of 3,300 metres of new bridges and the widening of existing lanes over 6,820 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-future-developments\"><strong>Future Developments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>RTA\u2019s efforts on Al Khail Road are far from over.
