The highly anticipated Jetour T1 has been unveiled in the UAE during an exclusive preview event held at Jetour\u2019s new flagship showroom in Dubai. The event, which also marked the launch of the Jetour X50<\/a>, gave select media personnel a closer look at the compact SUV ahead of its official launch.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the tremendous success of its elder sibling \u2014 the Jetour T2<\/a>, the smaller T1, priced at AED 129,000<\/strong>, is ready to carve out its own niche in the UAE market. With its distinctive design and interesting engine options including an efficient hybrid powertrain, the Jetour T1 is poised to attract SUV buyers in the region.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slightly Smaller Than The Jetour T2  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Jetour T1, which was first revealed for the Chinese market in October 2024 under the name Shanhai T1, is positioned as a smaller and more efficient alternative in Jetour\u2019s \u2018T\u2019 series of off-road SUVs. It measures 4,706mm in length, 1,967mm in width, and 1,845mm in height. The Jetour T1\u2019s 2,810mm wheelbase ensures ample cabin room while maintaining compact SUV<\/a> proportions.<\/p>\n\n\n

The T1\u2019s boxy silhouette, inspired by rugged off-roaders, lends it a bold and commanding presence. The tail lamps at the rear echo the headlamp design, while the 19-inch petal-shaped alloy wheels add to its striking aesthetic.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engine Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Jetour T1 will initially be launched with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol inline-4 engine<\/a> \u2014 the same engine that powers the Jetour T2. It produces 252hp and 390Nm. However, instead of the 7-speed DCT found in the T2, Jetour has introduced a new 8-speed gearbox for the T1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards the end of 2025, Jetour is expected to launch a new engine option for the Jetour T1 \u2014 a 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain, The system combines a 154hp, 220Nm turbo-petrol inline-4 engine with electric motors<\/a> and a 26.7kWh battery<\/a>, delivering a pure electric range of up to 150 km. This powertrain will give the SUV a range of up to 1,300km. The same PHEV powertrain will also debut on the larger Jetour T2 at a later stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the inside<\/a>, the Jetour T1 mirrors the luxurious and technology-driven approach seen in its larger sibling. On the dashboard is a 15.6-inch infotainment screen<\/a>, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, ensuring smooth performance and an intuitive user experience.  <\/p>\n\n\n

The Jetour T1 is priced at AED 129,000<\/strong>, exclusive of VAT. This places it just AED 10,000 lower than the T2\u2019s price<\/a>. Bookings for the Jetour T1 will commence on 16 December 2024. However, deliveries are only expected to begin in April 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
