Dubai is set to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure with the installation of new EV charging stations in Dubai. Parkin Company PJSC (Parkin)<\/a>, the largest provider of paid public parking services in Dubai, has partnered with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)<\/a> to expand the city’s EV charging network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the initiative, DEWA will install new EV Green Chargers across prime parking locations in early 2025. These 22-kilowatt AC chargers will be strategically placed in high-density residential areas where EV charging options are currently limited. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, stressed the importance of green mobility: \u201cWe continue to strengthen green mobility by encouraging<\/em> the use of eco-friendly electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions from the<\/em> transport sector.
