Now before everyone gets upset and claiming that the system will take away how one drives a car, Mclaren have said that it’ll only play a small role in regards to safety.\u00a0The revolutionary technology can be enabled and disabled with a press of a button, which is a fantastic feature for commuting down busy roads. And when it’s all clear, simply disable the system and drive your heart out.<\/p>\n
The autonomous capabilities\u00a0will also be present on the race track to aid rookie drivers in achieving the perfect racing line.<\/p>\n
Mclaren is the first of a long list of sport car manufacturers to announce the implementation of “hands-free” driving in future models, there’s no doubt many other big names such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and others are considering the tech.<\/p>\n
It’s unclear if the system will come as standard across the range and if it does, it’ll come at a price. No exact time frame is mentioned when the system will roll out, all we know is that it’s on the way.<\/p>\n
