{"id":9628,"date":"2016-08-04T20:59:18","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T16:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/?p=9628"},"modified":"2017-01-11T10:26:25","modified_gmt":"2017-01-11T06:26:25","slug":"2017-mercedes-benz-amg-gt-c-headed-paris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/2017-mercedes-benz-amg-gt-c-headed-paris.html","title":{"rendered":"2017 Mercedes-benz AMG GT C headed for Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/2017-mercedes-amg-roadster-confirmed-and-spied.html\">spotted<\/a> in various locations around Europe, recent reports suggest the drop top version of the Mercedes AMG GT is to strip off all of its camo and show off its new roof at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October.<\/p>\n<p>Once again spotted with a soft cloth collapsable roof, convertible models are said to slot in between standard AMG models and the future face destroying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/2017-mercedes-gt-r-pics-are-in-and-its-very-green.html\">2017 Mercedes GT R\u00a0<\/a> model of which only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/only-2000-2017-mercedes-amg-gt-rs.html\">2000 models<\/a> are rumoured\u00a0to be built. Roadster models are said to borrow individual\u00a0bits and pieces from GT R\u00a0which could result in slightly\u00a0more power and additional trim pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Underneath the bonnet is still the same rear wheel driven 4.0-litre V8 turbo engine exerting over 500 horsepower enabling a 0-100 time of fewer than 4 seconds and a top speed of over 300 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>And the Paris unveiling\u00a0doesn&#8217;t stop there as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/2018-ferrari-la-ferrari-confirmed.html\">Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/another-porsche-panamera-model-revealed.html\">2017 Porsche Panamera<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubicars.com\/news\/ferrari-celebrates-70-years-350-special-edition-models.html\">special edition Ferrari<\/a> models plus many others.<\/p>\n<p>Looking for a fixed roof version of the German sports car?
