Coronavirus – Peugeot UAE launch Valet Test Drive

Buying a car during the Coronavirus outbreak can be somewhat troublesome. While you can still buy a secondhand car from a private individual, buying one from a dealer is harder as many have temporarily shut for two weeks.

Peugeot UAE has come up with a solution to this. They’ll bring the car to you.

Earlier this week, Peugeot UAE launched its Valet Test Drive and Service program. As part of the program, cars buyers don’t have to leave the house. Instead, Peugeot brings the car to you.

Customers interested in using the service can head to Peugeot UAE’s special website.

Via the site, they can book the Peugeot they would like to view including the seductive Peugeot 508.

Customers can then choose a booking date, and once the relevant information has been filled out, a sales executive will contact the customer.

The executive will go over more details of the vehicle, get the customers location and organise a time the customer would like to see the car.

Before the car is transported to any location, the vehicle is thoroughly sterilised.

Once the vehicle has arrived, the sales executive will show the customer around while maintaining strict precautions in regards to hygiene standards and maintain social distancing.

If the customer is satisfied with the demonstration, a personalised letter from Peugeot UAE is sent to them with a full price breakdown.

The service is available in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah for both individuals and companies. Only new cars are available to purchase.

Car servicing made easy

Additionally, Peugeot UAE is also Peugeot customers the option of having their cars serviced without the need to leave the comfort and safety of their homes.

By visiting their Valet Service website, vehicle owners can book their desired service. Once booked via the site, the car will be collected. A service advisor will discuss with the customer the cost of service and how long it will take.

After the service is finished, the vehicle is thoroughly sanitised before being returned to the customer.

Rakesh Nair, Managing Director at Groupe PSA in the GCC, commented: “It is difficult for everyone right now. However, we are always determined to keep our customers well-served and safe, whether that be while buying the car or after the purchase had been done. The idea is to improve the process and customise car ownership, not only for current times, for the future as well.”

Al Ghandi has launched a similar service for Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC.
