Ford GT digital display revealed

Two years ago, Ford shocked the world by finally announcing a successor to the epic Ford GT. Powered by a smaller but more powerful 3.5-litre V6 EcoBoost petrol motor mated to an automatic gearbox.

As its launch date is almost upon us, Ford has revealed the brand’s digital dashboard in all of its 10-inch high definition glory. Ford claims the new screen will display necessary information quickly when required, supplying drivers what they need when they need it.

On top of the fascinating screen, Ford has also released information about the Ford GT’s new drive mode selector.

Those of you out there lucky enough to own such a beautiful creature will have five modes to select from at their fingertips. Normal, Wet, Sport, Track and V-Max. Take a look at the main picture, and you’ll notice that V-Max mode is featured.

Move your head left, and you’ll see the 2018 Ford GT can hit a top speed of 348 km/h (216 mph) maybe even higher!

Instead of mounting the drive mode selector in the centre console, Ford has placed it on the steering wheel for optimal comfort. Each mode alters the colour displayed behind the wheel: Orange – Sport, Track – Red, Wet – Blue and V-Max – Yellow.

While this new tech will debut in the upcoming Ford GT, the Blue Oval will implement the technology into the rest of the lineup in due time.

Didn’t receive your confirmation for a 2018 model? Not to worry, we’ve got new Ford GT and used Ford GT for sale in Dubai.
