Summary

This 2013 BMW 650i M Sport is a standout opportunity for GCC buyers, combining remarkably low mileage for a 13-year-old vehicle with the most desirable trim configuration. Finished in Sapphire Black—a top-performing resale color in the regional market—it offers a significant power bump over the previous model year thanks to the updated N63 engine. The M Sport package elevates the coupe's presence with aggressive styling that still looks modern on UAE roads. For a buyer seeking the balance of a refined grand tourer and a high-performance V8, this low-mileage example represents a rare find in the used market. Maintaining this twin-turbo engine at authorized BMW service centers ensures long-term reliability for high-temperature desert commutes.

This Car vs Other 2013 650is

With only 64,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km per year, making it an outlier for its age. Most 2013 models in the region have exceeded 200,000 km, giving this low-mileage example a distinct advantage in mechanical longevity. The Black exterior is highly sought after in the secondary market, ensuring stronger value retention compared to less conventional colors.

M SPORT vs Lower Trims

The M Sport trim is the gold standard for the 6 Series, adding the M Aerodynamics kit, Shadow Line exterior trim, and 19-inch double-spoke wheels that distinguish it from the standard 650i. Inside, it upgrades the experience with multi-contour seats and an M leather steering wheel. This trim often includes the high-value Head-Up Display and ventilated seats, which are essential for staying comfortable during the extreme GCC summer months.

650i vs Segment Rivals

The 650i competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz SL and the Maserati GranTurismo, leading the segment in daily usability and infotainment tech for this era. Its 4.4L V8 offers a more refined, torque-heavy delivery than the Maserati's high-revving engine, making it better suited for the long-distance highway drives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Additionally, BMW's extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia provides a significant ownership advantage over boutique rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this V8 typically averages around 13.1 L/100km in combined GCC driving, reflecting its high-performance nature. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains a premium in the local market over imported North American or European versions due to its cooling system's ability to handle 45-degree heat. BMWs in this segment typically depreciate at approximately 12–15% annually in the UAE, though low-mileage M Sport examples like this often plateau in value as they become rarer.

Performance & Capability

The 2013 650i features the upgraded 445 hp twin-turbo V8, capable of a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.6 seconds. This power is managed by a smooth 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission that allows for effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. The electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h is matched by an adaptive M suspension system that can be adjusted for either comfort or sharp handling at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 4-seater cabin is focused on executive luxury, featuring high-quality leather and dual-zone climate control with powerful cooling vents designed for the local climate. The M Sport seats offer 16-way power adjustment with lumbar support, ensuring maximum comfort for cross-emirate road trips. Acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from road noise and desert heat, while the iDrive system provides a clear interface for navigation and media.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a comprehensive airbag suite, stability control (DSC), and high-performance anti-lock brakes. The car is equipped with adaptive Xenon headlights that turn with the steering wheel, providing better visibility on unlit desert roads. Front and rear parking sensors facilitate easy maneuvering in tight city parking, while the post-collision safety system automatically unlocks doors and shuts off the fuel pump in an emergency.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a collector or executive looking for a low-mileage, GCC-spec V8 coupe that has been preserved well beyond its peers. Its combination of the M Sport package and rare low kilometers makes it one of the most compelling 6 Series listings currently available.
